Hi, I'm not Ruby on Rails

by gregg on May 17, 2007

I'm sure many of you are looking to this blog today to find the 4th Rails ad. Well, I have bad news and good news.

The bad news is we're not going to post the last video on this blog until Monday. I can hear you booing, I know I know.

The good news is that today we talked with the Railsconf powers that be, and they may be playing the videos at the conference. The final 4th video will be premiered there as a treat to those attending, sometime this weekend. I will keep you posted if I find out when.

Until then, if you need a fix, check out The Killer Tortoise, this YouTube video is much more popular than ours. If you need a geek fix, you can pretend the turtle is Ruby on Rails and the cat is Java. Sure Rails runs a little slower, but it may eventually eat your face.

As a recovering .NET developer, I’m eagerly awaiting an ASP.NET spoof.

Screw ASP.NET/C#, let’s see Rails and ASP.NET/VB2005! You should have some fun with that, mostly how they empasize 10-stage gui as beign superior to actually coding something.
